Monthly update – September 2011
Increasing our social media presence, breaking company records and working on more diverse placements – these are just a few of the exciting developments that happened in September.
In addition to welcoming more staff, the team has been busy travelling around the UK visiting clients to identify how we can add further value to them. The feedback so far has been fantastic, and it was great to see people realising just how effective the core webrecruit solution is, and how we can offer additional services and solutions to reduce their overall cost per hire.
Last month also brought about some interesting thoughts concerning the concept of ‘flat fee’ recruitment. As the industry changes and adapts to the economy, and therefore hiring managers’ needs, the term ‘flat fee’ is being adopted by every facet of the recruitment industry.
It’s interesting to see how a model we created ten years ago is still being adopted by many agencies today. And whilst we thrive on keeping ahead of the curve we created, we are keen to differentiate ourselves and as such, continue to adapt and tailor our service to meet the changing needs of our clients.
Flat fee brings with it its own set of connotations – assumptions that are becoming slightly archaic as the recruitment landscape shifts again. As a result, we’re adapting our service and offerings to meet the expectations of 2011’s employers.
webrecruit’s vision has always been to break the mould by transforming recruitment. It’s a bold statement, but one we’re proud of, so look out to see what we’ve got up our sleeve in the next few months!
