Online recruitment ‘could help cut costs in 2009′
Flat-fee recruitment services offered by some online recruitment agencies could provide one of the best solutions for companies looking to hire on a budget.
According to 1Job.co.uk, many businesses are on a tight budget when it comes to hiring and want to get the best value for their money.
Therefore they are looking to measure the number of candidates they see and the quality of the interviewees against the cost of each job advert.
The website explained that employers are likely to see an increase in the number of suitable applications they receive if they use online recruitment sites.
This is because "candidates from job search engines are pre-qualified and are more likely to act and apply because they have previewed a summary of the job advert and seen the job title, location, salary and part of the job description".
A recent survey by CareerBuilder.com found that 19 per cent of firms will be turning to online recruitment in 2009.
