But in recent years, a new platform has evolved, bringing us one step closer to building more effective relationships with potential employers.

With over 225 million members, LinkedIn is a business networking powerhouse, opening up many new doors and opportunities for employers and job seekers alike.

But while having a presence on LinkedIn is one thing, how many of us know how to effectively use it to build long standing and valuable relationships that will bring us closer to securing our dream job?

Next Tuesday, 6th August, Aimee Bateman, Founder of CareerCake.com and ambassador for job seekers, will be sharing her top tips on how to use LinkedIn to build relationships in CareerCamLive.

Kicking off at 6.30pm (GMT), Aimee will be discussing the ins and outs of the world’s most influential professional network and how you can effectively use the platform to advance your job search. This will be followed by a live Q&A.
