CareerCamLive, Career webinar, Aimee Bateman, Careercake.com, Careercake, job advice, careers adviceWhile it’s always our intention to deliver an Oscar-winning performance at an interview, it’s not uncommon for our nerves to get the better of us and to end up feeling flustered and panicked. In fact interviews can be one of the most stressful parts of the job application process.

Yet there are certain things that you can prepare for in order to shine in the hot seat. And in tomorrow night’s CareerCamLive, I will be telling you exactly what those things are.

From understanding why you’re a good match for the position and researching the company to practicing interview questions, choosing your outfit and knowing how to follow up – I will ensure you’re well prepared to deliver a star-studded, smooth & successful interview.

Airing live the first Tuesday of every month, the next show will kick off at 6.30pm (GMT) on 3rd September. It’s completely free (you just need to register your details), and includes a 15 minute webinar followed by a live Q&A.

That means, if you have an interview-related question, you can send it to me at askcareercam@webrecruit.co.uk or tweet me using #CareerCamLive, and I will answer it live on the show.

Having been a recruiter for most of my life, I’ve always felt frustrated that there were so many talented individuals out there and so little that I could do. I created Careercake.com as a way to help all of you unique and talented individuals and to help you shine in your chosen career.

My work to date has seen me featured in various career shows for the BBC as well as in The Guardian. Now, I’ve teamed up with Webrecruit to share this knowledge further by bringing you CareerCamLive.

To watch the show, simply register your details here – and don’t forget to tune in live on Tuesday September 3rd, 6.30pm (GMT).

Look forward to seeing you there.

Aimee
