Those working in the human resources (HR) sector have seen a significant rise in their workload but are happier in their jobs, new figures show.
A significant 94 per cent of personnel managers polled by recruitment firm Badenoch and Clark said that they are happy in their current jobs, compared to 76 per cent three months previously.
However, Allison Gray of the company highlighted that HR employees are facing more work and that their "confidence is dropping" when it comes to job prospects.
"Employers need to be seen to be tackling those challenges head on. If that doesn't happen, they leave themselves open to losing a lot of their best talent," Ms Gray added.
According to Personal Today, professionals operating during the 1990s recession are in increasing demand as experts warn that the UK could be facing another major economic crisis.
