Online recruitment "could save firms thousands"

Businesses looking to save money when they are recruiting new members of staff should look to the online recruitment services available, it has been suggested.

According to recruiter Kelly, if online CVdatabases are utilised correctly they can be a useful source, allowing human resources (HR) managers to save money.

Speaking to the Irish Sunday Business Post, the agency also explained how the process of finding employees can be made easier by using online recruitment agencies.

"When companies outsource HR to recruitment agencies, the agencies then basically do the actual work of managing the vacancy on the job boards and filtering candidates to send over," it said.

Furthermore, there have been "great success stories" from firms that have saved thousands of euros by using the internet "more effectively", the agency furthered.

Earlier this week, Contract Eye reported that businesses may find that recruiting temporary staff may be one way to bring valuable skills to their company.
